I have been having constipation every since I had my partial hysto in 2005. I can go 3 weeks without a bowel movement. I have tried everything and i eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Plus I have endometerious. What can I do about this. I have lost weight because i can hardly eat, back pain.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe you have sluggish intestines, due to probably less active vagus nerve. I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms dulcolax, 2 tablets at bed time for 2 months, and then taper it slowly. Take more water, and juices, more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods, to have a early recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
