Suggest Medication For Constipation
Hi Doctor, my son who is 3 yr 9 months is having constipation and not regularly going to potty. Now it s almost 6 days and he hasn t gone to potty. Now we are thinking of giving Albendazole suspension Zentel 10 ml. Can you pls advice is it the right medicine and if so how much is the dosage we need to give? Pls suggest? Thanks in advance.

I really appreciate your concern, if child has not pass the stool since 6 days then underlying cause need to be found out and not to give anti-helminthic medicine because it is for worm and not for constipation, it is better to try suppository but it need to be done under medical supervision, condition need to be handle with great care, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
