Suggest Medication For Cough And Fever

My 1 year baby has cough and fever since yesterday night. Fever was 102 Deg F so, we sponge her body continuously however not much relief. So I gave her Meftal P 2.5 ml. She got relief from fever until morning, but again in morning at about 5:30 she had fever 102 deg F. We gave her Meftal P 2.5 ml again and went to physician. Physician prescribed her JMProx (Cefpodoxime), Flora- BC (Lactic acid bacillus) and Tuslic LS (Levosalbutamol sulphate, Ambroxol hydrochloride & Guaiphenesin Syrup) and Meftal- P sos, but still not relief from fever. Please help me.

I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion, you should wait for atleast 2-3 days after starting treatment.
She is taking antibiotic, cough syrup and anti pyretic.
These drugs are optimal for simple lung infection.
And usual recovery is expected in 2-3 days.
So my suggestion is to wait for 2-3 days, continue with the same drugs.
If after 2-3 days of treatment, if she still has cough and fever than consult doctor and get done chest x ray to rule out pneumonia.
