Suggest Medication For Cough And Irritation In The Throat

Hi, I am having a strange cough since last 2 to 3 weeks. Earlier the cough was greenish, but now it is white. The cough volume is quite low. I cough maybe 2 to 3 times a day, and sometimes once or twice in the night. When I cough, I am choking, and gasping for breath. I have slight irritation in my throat while speaking.

Hello,

A cough persisting for 2 to 3 weeks associated with phlegm is due to pneumonia. Please consult with your physician as a good physical examination is highly recommended together with chest x-ray and respiratory function test.

For the moment, I can only suggest raising your head when sleeping. Use oral anti-septics together with anti-histamines.
