Suggest Medication For Cut On The Wrist
Hello,
I cut my wrist twice. Across the wrist about 2 inches up and a little over an inch apart with a very sharp collectors knife. It was done in anger and without thought, and I am highly embarrassed about it. I went to hospital, and they stitched both cuts up. I was warned by the doctor that I nearly cut the artery and he was unsure if there was tendon damage. I was given antibiotics.This happened 5 days ago. I still have internal bleeding down my wrist and into my palm. I also have at times intense burning sensation down my arm or in my thumb or fingers depending on how I use my wrist. The area between the cuts and wrist has no feeling. Is this normal and what are the complications I can expect.
I do not really want to go to our local GP as it is very embarrassing.
