Suggest Medication For Diabetes

Dear. Doctor, Past six months ago i took halvus met 50 mg 500 for diabatise. at that time i have 121 sugar level and afetr 3 months i check the sugar it was 110 only. An the doctor said stop this mexicine. Now i check after 3 months for sugar level and it is increase to 151. So doctor prescribe me pioglitozone 15 mg. So my question is whic is. Good medicine, galvus met or pioglitozone

Hello,

If you are comparing the drug with efficacy, pioglitazone 15 is better then hulox met 500 (metformin 500). Both are used to treat Diabetes mellitus. Your treating physician may have considered the drug as per your age, body weight etc. so it's better to go with pioglitazone.
