Suggest Medication For Erectile Dysfunction

My husband had ED and I want to know what is a safe medication for him. He has a few medical issues like kidney failure and is on dialysis, diabetes, high blood pressure. I was reading over the Internet about this medication Zyalix and wondering what are your thoughts about it

Hi,

I have just gone through your query, erectile dysfunction is highly likely in this scenario because of two underlying conditions which your husband has:
1) diabetes,
2) hypertension.

Both will cause diminished blood flow to the arteries that supplies the penis and causes erectile dysfunction.
About Zyalix
1) It has various ingredients such as horny goat weed, L-arginine and other stuff which is not medically proven to cure ED.
2) Don't purchase anything that is not prescribed by the Doctors.
3) Any supplement that interferes with renal function can be really hazardous.

However, there are a few things you can do:
1) Pelvic floor/Kegel exercise which can help him to sustain an erection.
2) Jerking a technique can enhance erection by improving blood flow.
3) Mild to moderate physical activity.
4) Aphrodisiac which means any substance that increases the libido, its naturally found in certain foods like cashews, dates and honey which he can take in moderation after consulting with his doctor.
5) If nothing works out here we prescribe phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor drugs like Sildenafil.
6) More advanced treatments like PIPE and other interventional methods are available if all this fails.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Moses John Wesley,
