Suggest Medication For Fever. How Long Azitus Would Take To Active?

Hi..my daughter is 3.9 years old and 12.7 kg weight. She is having fever since last 4 days...generally fever is 101 min...and her head is more hot than body...also she got fever generally in night to whenever she sleeps...Doctor hv given calpol & then maftal...but fever is not stopping...Blood report is less wbc and MP test negative...rest report is normal..Today doctor had given Azitus xl 200..and says even if fevet continue for day thrn we need to admit her...we have given her Azitus at @4pm in afternoon...but still at night 12 pm when she slept. .again fever come 101degf....pls suggest what to do...Azitus will take how much time to bring her normal

I really appreciate your concern and from the history given here I could say that in pediatric age group one can not take any risk, if the fever is persistence and there is no improvement in symptoms then hospitalization is must, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
