Suggest Medication For Genital Herpes Skin Infection In Females
Good Morning Sir.My Mother is suffering from Genital Herpes Skin Disease , so Please Sir .. prescribe the medicine for better result . She is having itching , pain , strain and it is increasing day by day . Please Sir .. reply me as soon as possible ..I shall be very thankful to you ..
Hello, i am assuming that the current episode is a recurrent episode (not the first episode), for which i would adv tab Valacyclovir 500 mg twice daily for 3 days , along with application of mupirocin cream locally twice daily for the same duration. Genital herpes is a recurrent condition , if the patient experiences 6 or more episodes in a year, we start them on a course of suppressive therapy which decreases the frequency of recurrences and also viral shedding. I adv u to consult a dermatologist for discussion about the same after the lesions resolve Thank you Take care
