Suggest Medication For Headache And Fever

I have been suffering headaches and a temperature of up to 38.5 for the last 5 days. I have seen a Doctor and he has proscribed amoxycillin cap 500 1x3 times a day with food. I have been able to reduce the temp. with neurofen, but it doesn t last. I have not been taking more than 6 a day. I also have other ongoing medical issues and and wondering if my other medication can be interfering with the amoxil

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of headache and fever which could be due to impaired immunity of your body and due to viral infection of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to boost your immunity by taking multivitamins and diet rich in vitamin A. You should take NSAID medication along with antiviral medications such as Acyclovir. You should take plenty of fluids. Avoid taking any sharp and oily food substances. You should take soft and bland food. You should take fresh juices in diet. Try to divide your meals in small fractions rather than having bulk at a time. Visit general physician once and get it examined. Go for blood tests as well. Start treatment after proper diagnosis.
