Suggest Medication For Heaviness Under The Breast And Shortness Of Breath

I am feeling a heaviness under my left breast, above or right on top of my rib cage. No difference when I sit, stand, or lie down. Started last night. No shortness of breath but I do feel like I have to make an extra effort to take a deep breath. No history of any heart issues. Not sure if I should be concerned by what I am feeling.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
As a rule , any left sided discomfort should be evaluated for cardiac cause.
So get done
1. ECG
2. 2D Echo. To rule out cardiac cause.
If both are normal than no need to worry much for cardiac cause.
You may having anxiety related symptoms.
So consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on it.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
So better to avoid stress and tension.
Be relax and calm.
