Suggest Medication For High Fever

my father in law reported fever 102.5 immediately on the day of his right eye cataract surgery. he was shivering while on the operation table and post surgery also.
when we asked the doctors who did this surgery, they advised to go to physician. please advice the line of treatment to be followed..thanks.

Post surgery shivering is mostly caused by drugs side effects of general anesthesia... So was he operated under same for cataract surgery...???
And as your surgeon said there's no co relation between cataract surgery and fever... So you need to consult physician only for it...
