Hello,

You had a hip revision 3 months on your right hip. Since then you have developed pain on the left hip and are having difficulty walking. You are suggested not to strain unnecessarily, take rest, stay comfortable. For relief, you can take acetaminophen or muscle relaxers, one SOS when needed.

You can apply pain relieving ointments gently on the area affected. You can also apply pain relieving sprays on the affected area to get comfortable. Such pain commonly arises due to instability (recurrent dislocation), aseptic loosening of the implants, and infection. Get clinically examined, assessed and get investigations done at the earliest so that treatment can be started.

Get connected to a Physical therapist so that you can continua to do exercises that will help you get better. Walk as much as you can comfortably and avoid sitting at the same place for a long time. Stay away from addictions if any. Take healthy diet. Stopping to walk or doing exercises completely may affect recovery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
