Suggest Medication For Hypothyroidism With A Elevated TSH Level Of 6.1

Hi doctor!
This is Baktash Hamidi . I was recently diagnosed with hipothyroidism as my lab reports showed an elevated tsh level of 6.1. My doctor suggested to take thyroxine tab 25mcg daily.the symptoms are weight gain, fatigue,depression. I have been taking the medications for about 12 day still no improvement.

Dear sir, hi! welcome to HCM. you will require a higher dose, as per your body weight. increase it to 75 mcg if you are more than 60 kg or make it 50 mcg if you are less than 60 kg. you will feel the change after 6 weeks of treatment.recheck after 6 weeks your TSH and let me know . regards!
