Suggest Medication For Ingrown, Puss Filled Hair On Labia
Hi I continuously get ingrown hairs on my labia that become uncomfortable and sometimes have puss. This has been going on for a very long time now and I was wondering if there are any ways to prevent it and/or treat it. Also are there any medications to reduce the bumps left behind from them? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Whenever any tissue is infected and filled with pus, it needs incision and drainage of the pus. The pus filled lesions should never be punctured by nails and fingers lest the risk of more infection and bad marks.
If you are getting such lesions repeatedly, you have to keep your private parts clean of hair. If you are shaving the parts, please do not use reverse stroke which can cause such lesions. Pulling our the hair is also not a good and healthy habit. Initially, till all your lesions are healed up, clip the hair with scissors.
Use perineal wash like Lactacyd to keep the parts clean, healthy and acidic.
Alovera ointment and turmeric powder application may help you fade the marks; however, complete abolition of the marks is difficult.
I hope this helps you.
