Suggest Medication For Itchiness And Patch On Scrotum
Hello, I have a dry, itchy patch on scrotum. I also have intense itching, which mainly occurs at night, in my genital area. I also have moist patch of skin on top of penile shaft and red puffy foreskin. The itching is very intense at times. I was wondering what the issue could be and what I can do to treat this.

I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms grisofulvin, multivitamin tablets,and mixed steroid ointment.

The symptoms you are having are related to Jock itch, for which I recommend:
- Terbinafin 1% + hydrocortisone cream at night
- keep a good genital hygiene
- avoid sexual intercourse while on treatment
- examine the stool for ova/parasites to rule out intestinal parasitic infection
