Suggest Medication For Itchiness In My Armpits

Hello, about a month ago I shaved my armpits with a dry razor and then it started itching like crazy, and then it seemed like a lot of places on my body were itching. It got s o bad my armpits are brightred, and have stayed that way, and also in between my legs, and under my breasts. I went to the clinic today and the doctor gave me a prescription for an athlete,s foot cream. Can u get athlete,s foot on your body?

Hi,

Most probsbly you might have intertrigo in axilla,groin and inframammary areas. The skin might become erythematous,erosed,wet and crusted. There may be secondary bactetial infection. Candidal infection might be there.Itching,burning and discomfort may be there. You immediately consult dermatologist.

I would recommend as follow..

- antihistaminics
- stetoid in tappering dose
- antifungal tablets
- antibiotic and antifungal cream ...apply at night
- antifungal powder.... sprinkle day time
