General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history about your 18 month old daughter started with loose motions and rash 3 days ago, started with Sporlac and Ofloxacin, no results.
The doses of Sporlac and Ofloxacin should be as per the weight of the baby and is decided by the Pediatrician.
If there is no results with the said medicines it is better to send the samples of stool and blood for lab so that any added information may help in deciding the further management as needed.
If the symptoms are due to viral enteritis then it is self limiting and takes time.
Bacterial enteritis would have helped by this time. It is possible that
this may be intolerance to something as the baby's immune system is being developed as she is 18 months old and these factors too decide.
Consult the Pediatrician and go by his clinical evaluation and management.
Also see that there is no dehydration and food is given as per the advise of a Pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
