Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

This might be an abscess due to improper hygiene or trauma during intercourse or may happen due to a sexually transmitted disease. Were you to visit my clinic, I would:
1) Examine the lesion
2) Clean it with Betadine solution
3) Order an std panel, if it were to come positive, treat you accordingly
4) If negative give you an antibiotic course for 7 days, Tab. Coamoxiclav 625 mg.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar Mudgal, Psychiatrist
