Hello,

It's important to note that some skincare products and treatments are not safe for use during pregnancy, so it's best to consult with a healthcare professional before trying anything new.

For oily skin, some general tips that may help include washing your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser, using oil-free and non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging) moisturizers and makeup products, and avoiding touching your face throughout the day. It's also important to maintain a healthy diet and stay hydrated.

The dark skin on your neck could be due to a condition called acanthosis nigricans, which is sometimes associated with insulin resistance or diabetes. It's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider and get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

In the meantime, some general tips for managing dark skin patches include using sunscreen with a high SPF, using exfoliating products or treatments (such as chemical peels) under the guidance of a healthcare provider, and using skin-lightening products that are safe for use during pregnancy (such as those containing kojic acid or azelaic acid).

Again, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before trying any new products or treatments during pregnancy. They can help determine what is safe and effective for you based on your individual needs and health history.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
