Suggest Medication For Pain And Bleeding Of Heel Due To A Injury

I stepped on a short nail roughly 4-5 hours ago. It punctured my heel and it only bled for about a minute or so. I let it bleed a bit to get any possible bacteria out before applying pressure and it stopped the bleeding very quickly. I then soaked my foot, put some antibacterial spray on it, then put a band aide on the site. But the site still hurts. There s no swelling or discharge, it just hurts and a bit uncomfortable to walk. Is this just my foot healing itself?

Hi

Since you have developed an injury over the foot ,it is important that you Keep the affected area clean and dry ,so as to prevent any super infection.
Wash the affected area with lukewarm saline water twice daily.
Apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the lesion twice daily.
You might need a course of oral antibiotics if the lesion still tends to persist or increase.
