Suggest Medication For Pain During Periods

I had a secretion that included some greenish substance. Is this something to worry about ? I gave birth on June 1. I am 28 and 5 feet 4 inches and weigh about 120 pounds. This is my first baby. I have been in good health but have had painful periods.

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Greenish vaginal discharges aren't normal but they tell that you may have an infection.
The most common cause of green vaginal discharge is a sexually transmitted infection known as trichomoniasis.
The discharge often has a foul odor and is typically more yellowish-green than pure green.
Intercourse and urination may cause discomfort, and the genital area may be itchy.
Pelvic pain may also occur but is not common.
Hence get a vaginal swab done to rule out this infection.

All the best
