Suggest Medication For Pain In Ear Drum Due To Abrasion From Earring

I have an abrasion on the ring that houses my ear drum. I have had this for nearly a year, and have tried numerous prescribed ear drops and ointments, but it still hurts. The last time I went to a doctor, he told me the abrasion was still there. What should I do?

hello, thanks for your query, i feel that's not a simple abrasion, but it is a perforation is not healing since 1 year. if the ear perfoartion not healing in time, you need to see other pathologies like deviated septum, allergic rhinitis, polyp, tonsillitis.after treating primary cause, if the perforation still persistent you need to undergo ear surgery with grafing the perforation. kindly evaluate with an ent surgeon. hope i have answered your query.all the best. take care.
