Suggest Medication For Pain In Left Heel

I went to the foot doctor about 3 weeks ago for pain in my left heel. It go so bad that I could hardly walk. It has been like this for about 6 months or so and I could no longer take the pain. She xrayed my foot and saw that there might be a cyst on the bone and after might be a tear in the achilles tendon. She put me in a boot for 6 weeks w/a follow up. I am still having the same pain. Could it be the cyst or just need more time to heal the tendon?
