Suggest Medication For Pain In Left Side Of Face And Pressure In Eyes
I have been getting a pain in the left side of my face. it s a constant pain that feels like a vice grip is squeezing my eye and lasts for 2-3 hours. The pain will radiate slightly to my temple and/or ear. when I lay my head on a pillow it makes the pain worse. I can only breath out the left side of my nose (the center divider blocks the majority of my right nostril) . I was in an accident 15 years ago that damaged my left sinus (cracked the area between my eye and sinus below it) I have had no strange discharge from my nostril and I am not congested. I am in my late 30 s and otherwise healthy.
A fracture of the sinus like the one you have described could damage the infraorbital nerve and cause the pain in the eye. You need to have your eyes checked out first for any local problem, and if nothing is found specific medication could be given by your doctor to control the pain.
