Suggest Medication For Pain In Ribs.
Currently on 5th regiment of chemo (Cisplatin & Alimta). Diagnosed in May 2008...have stage 3b lung cancer w/left breast cancer stage 2. Surgery (lumpectomy Nov 2009). May19, 2011 chemo trmt #3). However 4 days ago my left rib cage down to the stomach became tender. A full-bodied bone scan was taken yesterday. Have not taken any Tylenol for pain. Today is the 4th day of pain. Unable to sleep or lay on the left side unless I use a soft pillow. I fell March 7, 2011 and landed on my left side; took Hydrocodione for pain here. X-rays were taken only to discover I have degenerated spine disease. I was later hospitalized May 11-15, 2011, for bacteria pneumonia. Was released and portable/stationary oxygen and a Nebulizer for (COPD). Now, two months later I'm having pain in my rib cage. Could you possibly take a guess as to why my rib cage is presenting itself as an additional cancer?

Since you are having pain in ribs i would suggest you take tablet morphine 10 mg thrice daily after food.
