My spouse is on Chemo. His feet are peeling a lot. I have soaked his feet in epsom salts and have purchased some Aveno with Shea butter. I have mixed olive oil with this and apply it morning and afternoon and at night. I also put thin socks on him. Its winter and he complains his feet are cold. He had one spot that was bleeding. However this practice has stopped that. Is there a medication he can get from the VA hospital?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Sulochana's Response
Hello, Thank you for writing to HCM
I would advice you to soak his feet in warm water with some glycerine added to it.
Apply ureativ 20 cream in the affected area.
Donot worry he will be alright soon. I advice you to keep his leg elevated while sitting
Regards.
