General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your infant is having dry coughing especially at morning, then, might be due to acid reflux. However, should run a physical examination to rule out respiratory problems.

If doctor prescribed ascoril means he is having pulmonary problems. If persisting for 1 month, you should re-check again before giving medication.

So, please let him checked by pediatrician first.
With regards to the dose, should give 5 ml as prescribed by his doctor.

Wish fast recovery.
