Suggest Medication For Persistent Diarrhea

hi my baby is 11months old he has diarrhea from the last 3 weeks and his doctor is not giving him any medicine, he is hydrated and has no fever or vomiting but he loose motions about 7 times a day.. as per his doc i am giving him very diluted formula and boiled rice only. is there anything you can suggest to improve his condition? thanks
