Psoriasis is a chronic and relapsing skin disease. In this disease, perfect cure is impossible. It is a controllable skin disease. Certain triggering factors should be avoided to prevent the recurrence. The dry skin caused by winter is likely to exacerbate the disease. Long term regular medicinal therapy would give long term or life long control of the disease. There are many medical treatments like methotrexate, acitretin,PUVA,biologics and so on. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect treatment of the disease.
Hope this helps.
