Suggest Medication For Recurring Outbreaks Of Diarrhea While Having IBS

I was diagnosed with IBS-D almost a year ago. I have been able to keep it under control/manageable with occasional outbreaks of severe diarrhea. I have been taking imodium before meals. I am now taking 3 or 4 tablets before each meal, but it is no longer keeping the diarrhea under control. Could I have built up a tolerance for it?

Human body is a miraculous object. You can develop tolerance against tough strongest meds. Specially, those patients with chronic IBS, its very common to develop tolerance.
