Suggest Medication For Red Blisters On The Toes That Are Sensitive To Heat
My toes on both feet are red tender like blisters on top of toes. The sore spots don t have a watery type blister. I ve noticed they are very sensitive and start to hurt when I am out in the heat and sun. What is this and what can I put on them to get rid of this?
Based on the history you have shared, you should get it reviewed by a dermatologist to rule out any fungal infection or bacterial infection which may appear like a boil.
Using local antibiotics as well as anti-fungal combination may be helpful.
For reassurance serum uric acid and sugar levels should also be confirmed as these may contribute to such lesions. OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be helpful for pain and antihistamines like Cetirizine for itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
