Suggest Medication For Resistant Salmonella Associated With Typhoid Fever
what prescription antibiotics treat resistant salmonella associated with typhoid fever? I spoke to an infectious disease specialist today by phone regarding my daughter who is living/working in Tanzania and has been diagnosed with typhoid fever and for which Cipro was ineffective. The doctor recommended meracanum, but I am not sure about the spelling and also carbantenum?

Ciprofloxacin wont help n a resistant case of salmonella. Your daughter needs 3rd generation Cephalosporin antibiotics like Ceftriaxone or sometimes Azithromycin drug in more resistant cases.
