General & Family Physician, Dr. Vidya KR's Response
Hello,
Your symptoms are suggestive of adenoids. These are small glands situated inside nose, which acts as a barrier for infection. Enlarged adenoids do result in nasal obstruction. As you have history 3 weeks symptoms, it can be managed by medications itself. Steam inhalation 3 times a day, use nasal decongestants to reduce congestion and course of antibiotics. Consult ENT specialist to get examined.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
