Suggest Medication For Severe Cough In An Infant

I have a 10 month old baby that weighs 25lbs. He s got a horrible cough and can t seem to sleep tonight. We have a doctors appointment tomorrow but I was going to see if it s safe for him to take promethazine w/dm for his cough until we can see the doctor tomorrow? And if yes, what dosage?

Hello,

As you explain the situation and according to his age no I don't recommend you to give it to him until you see the pediatrician. Please be careful and don't give to an infant any medication without his doctor knowledge.
