Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, he should do some investigations such as measuring blood pressure. If he had hypertension, he would take medical treatment, reduce salt and fat intake, take aspirin 160 mg twice per day after meals and do an Echo and an ECG on heart. Second, if he did not have hypertension,he could have migraine, so he should take Zolmitriptan 2.5 mg once to abort the headache then he can take propranolol 20 mg every 6 hours before meals to prevent the occurrence of headache.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mustafa, Neurologist
