Suggest Medication For Severe Headache

Hi my 7 year old boy has come home from school, complained of a sore stomach, became agitated and over the last 2 hours has a severe headache, has sobbed when awake, slept twice for about 20 mins, has a temperature of 38.1. Says the house is too noisy. Normally very active and healthy

I can understand your concern.
In children, this kind of severe headache is commonly seen with infection like meningitis.
He is also agitated, sleepy and feverish.
All these are common symptoms of meningitis in children.
So in my opinion, you should immediately take your son to pediatrician and get done clinical examination for neck rigidity, blood reports, MRI brain and lumber puncture (if required).
He might need intravenous antibiotics, painkiller, fluids and other supportive drugs.
Don't worry, he will be alright with all these but immediately consult pediatrician.
