Suggest Medication For Severe Pain In Knee With Swelling In Legs

my left knee has been very painful and legs swollen. Have had injections in my buttock, no relief; then injection in the knee and pain isn t as bad. However, now my right leg has began to be painful on the top part of my feet and swelling around the ankles. This is my 4th wk with this problem. I m exhausted. I m taken Oxa- B, Viastril-S, Lasix 40 mg, Xicox, Doxium 500 mg, Am thinking of taking DoloNeurob ion tonight. What do you recommend

Hi,

You are having pain and swelling of joints for last one month- left knee to begin with and now right ankle. Do you have any other associated symptoms like fever, rash, painful urination or any discharge from urethra?

Poly arthritis (painful and swollen joints) is something that we need to evaluate fast to find out the cause. We can not just leave it with analgesics alone. This can be a manifestation of reactive arthritis, a rheumatological disease or other systemic inflammatory condition.

Kindly see a physician for initial workup. You may be asked for blood routine, ESR, urine routine, X-ray and few other test. Meanwhile you can take paracetamol 3 times a day for pain relief.
