Suggest Medication For Sleeplessness Due To Anxiety
I am 43 yrs old!I weigh 66kgs and my height is 168cm!I used to suffer from tonsilitis as a child untill I underwent an operation when I was 9yrs old!I suffered once from rheumatic fever when I was a kid too!I have two children which I delivered by ceasarian operations!I suffered postnatal depression after my first delivery!I took treatment for almost 6 months!I am aneamic too and I take furous fumerate 210mg pills along with cod liver oil!I also take propronalol 20mg a day for the treatment of palpitation,migraine and anxiety!I ve been suffering for years sleep interruption by scare or fear!I wake up several times at the begining of my sleep afraid but don't know what I am afraid of!I just feel fear!But afterwards I have a sleepful night!Wish I understand or know my diagnosis!I hope u will be of help!thank you for your time!

Since your sleep problems are strongly related with anxiety and propranolol doesn't look to me to be doing enough in that direction, perhaps you should consider treatment for anxiety with an antidepressive. Their action requires several weeks so if symptoms bothersome you could have a short course of treatment with benzodiazepines which have a more immediate action but aren't used for a long time because they develop tolerance and dependance along with other side effects.
