Suggest Medication For Sore Throat And Congestion In The Nose
im 16, 5ft 7 and 63 kilos. i had sex with someone i dont know very well, and the condom came off during sex. I have no idea whether he actually came. He is australian, 23 and has a long term gf (i did not know at the time). I had a sore throat about 2 weeks after that; it was mild and i had it for a few days, but only at night and in the morning, it just felt really dry like i was thirsty. i had a cold four weeks after, but it was basically just a snotty nose and nothing else, no fever etc, and ive read that congestion in the nose is a sign its not primary hiv. I have no real medical history, no diseases etc.

from your words you have throat infection that causes these symptoms and it may be due to transmission of infection thraugh oral kissing or other cause
about treatment ....you should drink alot of fluids that will make you improve......also you should avoid smoking if you are smoker also have bed rest .....you should gargle your throat with saline as simply it helps to decontaminate your throat. ..........
you can take tylenol as for relief of symptoms
some times we require throat swab for investigation if symptoms get worse but now you not need that.......if bacterial infection suggested you will prescribed amoxicillin or erythromycin as it is antibiotic has great role in treatment of throat infection.......at last drinking fluids is simple and important.......
