General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Sore throat with painful swallowing, coughing a lot, harsh sound indicate the following:
- Upper respiratory tract infection with lots of inflammation
- Harsh sound means there is inflammation of the vocal cords and structures nearby

The need to sneeze can be due to irritation and accumulation of allergens like dust or so that irritate the nasal mucosa. I would advise you the following:
- Take an antihistamine
- Decongestant nasal drops
- Plain water steam inhalation
- Anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen in proper doses if it suits you
- Povidone iodine gargles
- Consult your doctor for preliminary examination, investigations and add on any antibiotic if he feels necessary
- Take rest
- Avoid extreme weather changes
- Take rest in house and avoid allergens

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
