Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it a sore on tongue slightly lesser than the size of dime and sore to spicy food seems to a Major Apthae that is a large sized variant of
Canker Sore..
As it is present just a few days, it does not seems to be anything serious..
I would however suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a clinical examination and if required a
Biopsy can be advised to confirm the cause.
Completely stop chewing tobacco and on case if you are addicted you can break the habit by taking
Nicotine replacement therapy in the form of Nicotine patches and chewing gum..
You can be advised to take a
multivitamin tablet daily..
Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
You can suck ice and do cool water rinses..
You can also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like
Ibuprofen..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
