Suggest Medication For Swelling And Pus After Gauging Ear
I gauged my ear to a 8g on thrusday night and its still puffy and some pus came out a few hours ago, I cleaned it out with hot water and sea salt and have been doing that every 4 hours or so. I don't want to take the gauge out cause I don't have anything to downsize since I gave my 10g away. Any advice?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems that you have got an infection at the area of ear gauging and due to infection there has been pus discharge at the site of gauging.. The first thing that you need to do is to get the gauge removed as if it will not be removed the infection will not subside faster.. So it will be better to remove the gauge and clean the area with antiseptic solution like betadine and apply gentle pressure to remove the pus so that healing takes place faster.. You should apply ointments containing Steroid and Triple antibiotic ointment over the infected area.. You should do it twice a day for 3 to 4 days and in case if it does not improve consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
