Suggest Medication For Throbbing Pain In Shin

Hi, I I think I might have a shin split but am not sure. Can you give me some symptoms and treatment please. As I exercise the pain starts in my mid shin and gradually gets worse. At the end of the workout my entire shin is throbbing with pain and I am limping. Thanks.
