Suggest Medication To Cure Headache

I ve had headaches (usually around 4 am sometimes sporadically during the day) that seem to be centered around my left temple for about 3 weeks. I ve been to a medcheck facility and was told I have a sinus infection. I was prescribed amoxicillin for 10 days. When this didn t work I called my doctor and he called in a zpack, which I finished today, with no relief, any ideas what might be wrong with me? Worst headache I ve ever had.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The headache can be related too many medical conditions. First of all I suggest to do a sinus X-ray to confirm the diagnosis. If the diagnosis is confirmed then the treatment with antibiotics is correct. Meanwhile I suggest to use anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest you use saline nasal spray for local application.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
