Suggest Medication To Cure Prolonged Acne Problem

Hi....I am a 32 year old woman with an acne problem which has been continuing for many years...though the acne isn t very severe...It simply doesn t go away..After a peeling session it has increased . I have been suggested Isotroin 20...but with such negative reviews...I do not know whether to take that medicine... what should I do?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have prolonged acne problem since years which occurs because of infection of bacteria when clogged pores gets filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Excessive exposure to sun is the other factor responsible for your condition. You should take Isotrentoin 20 as it is effective to use only after prescription. You should use product containing benzoyl peroxide. You should apply sun screen Such as TAN CARE rich in SPF 26. Drink 8-9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. Apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day. For now do not touch , squeeze or pick it with hand. If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course .
