Suggest Medication To Cure Severe Headache

My wife got a burning headache on The top of the head since over a year now .It start by a small spot on The center of The top of her head and got wider over Time pass.The burning headache is none stop,24hours a day,every day since over a year now.She is takinght morphine every 4hours,but still The paine never go away completely.On a 10 scalène for paine,The better she cant get is a 4,and it last for 3hours that start to go pu againt.So far,no doctor ,no body found any answer

Thanks for contacting with the health concern of your wife and in every patient of headache,(irrespective of cause) one must test the following signs ad routine:

. Check blood pressure: control hypertension if present
. Check sinus tenderness over maxillary & frontal sinuses and look for any focus of infection in teeth,tonsils & ear
. Check tenderness on nape of neck or pain on neck movements.

1. If headache is recurrent and chronic
. Check eye sight first
. Check B.P., sinus tenderness, & spondilitis
. If headache is severe & progressive, ask for CT Scan
. If there is any neurological sign like weakness of cranial nerves or limbs, convulsions then refer for Neurologist opinion.

2. If it comes out to be simple tension headache then one need just an analgesic and a tranquiliser otherwise one has to adopt the line of Migraine.
