Hi & Welcome to HCM.

I can understand your concerns.

1. Regarding how to delay or postpone the periods:
This can be done by using a medicine called Norethisterone 5mg and it is taken in the following way:

One tablet 3 times a day beginning 3-4 days before the expected period is due to begin. It is then taken every day in the same dosage and can be continued for up to 2 weeks or so until you want to have a period.
The period will normally begin 2-3 days after stopping it

Side effects such as bloating, breast tenderness, nausea, headache and disturbances in mood and sex drive can occur.

2. Regarding prevention of pregnancy after the anticipated wedding:

You will have to consult a gynecologist for proper advice.
The menstruation can be delayed by using a combined contraceptive pill. How you do this will depend on which pill you take.
For example:
21-day pill – you take a combined pill for 21 days, followed by seven days without pills, when you have a bleed.
To delay your period, start a new packet of pills straight after you finish the last pill and miss out the seven-day break. You need to take these pills in the correct order to provide effective contraception.

Hope to have answered your query.

Good luck.
