Suggest Medication To Delay Period With Spotting

Ive been having spotting for the past 3 days and not complete periods/I would like to delay my periods now and took a tablet of Primolut this morning.Will this help delay my periods if i take it for another 3 days.Or since the spotting has already begun Primolut will not have any effect?
