Suggest Medication To Induce Menstruation

Good morning. I am 20 years old and I don t have a regular period, sometimes it comes on the 1st and 2nd and sometimes it comes whenever. Now I ve not seen my period, I had sex on the 11th of this month and I need to defend my project on the 20th of this month. Please I want you to prescribe a medicine I can use to start my period immediately. Please reply asap. Ty

Hi,

You have to rule out underlying hormonal or ovarian cause if present to do a further workup. I suggest you investigate with ultrasonography pelvis, serum FSH, LH estimation, serum TSH estimation estimation and serum random blood sugar estimation. If no specific underlying cause present than a hormonal pill can be prescribed to induce the period.

I suggest you consult a gynecologist for detailed evaluation and discuss all these.
